Tonto is an abstract steel sculpture that interprets the form of a horse through an open, linear framework. Installed in Normandy Park, the piece emphasizes structure and gesture, using formed steel to suggest movement and presence with minimal material. Handblown glass elements by Diane Hansen are integrated into the composition, introducing moments of color and contrast that animate the work and draw focus within the skeletal form.
