This sculptural installation interprets the form of a dragonfly through an abstract composition of steel and layered geometry. Positioned at the JBLM Children’s Museum, the piece creates a sense of lightness and motion as it extends outward above the structure, engaging visitors from multiple vantage points. Constructed in part from repurposed materials sourced from a recycling yard, the work introduces a subtle narrative of sustainability, pairing industrial remnants with the delicacy of a natural form. The perforated wings filter light and sky, reinforcing the insect’s presence through a bold, architectural expression.
